Hampi

Hampi is a village in northern Karnataka state, India. It is located within the ruins of Vijayanagara, the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire. Predating the city of Vijayanagara, it continues to be an important religious centre, housing the Virupaksha Temple, as well as several other monuments belonging to the old city.

Thugabhadra Dam

The Tungabhadra River is formed by the confluence of two rivers, the Tunga River and the Bhadra River, which flow down the eastern slope of the Western Ghats in the state of Karnataka. Along with Nethravathi, the Thunga and the Bhadra rise at Gangamoola, in Varaha Parvatha in the Western Ghats forming parts of the Kuduremukh Iron Ore Project. Bhadra river flows through the Industrial City Bhadravathi. The journey of Thunga and the Bhadra is 147 km and 171 km respectively, till they join at Kudali.

Almatti Dam

Almatti dam is the main reservoir of the Upper Krishna project, an irrigation project. The Power House has 5 units of 55 MW each and 1 unit of 15 MW. The turbines are vertical kaplan. The annual design energy is 713 Million Units. KPCL took up the project at an estimated cost of Rs.674 crores and completed the project at a cost of Rs.520 crores in a period of 40 months by July 2005.

Golgumbaz

Gol Gumbaz is the mausoleum of Mohammed Adil Shah,Sultan of Bijapur. The tomb, located in Bijapur, Karnataka in southern India, was completed in 1656 by the architect Yaqut of Dabul. Although "impressively simple in design", it is the "structural triumph of Deccan architecture".

Shani Singnapur

Shingnapur is also famous for the fact that no house in the village has doors, only door frames. Despite this, no theft is reported in the village. Villagers never keep their valuables under lock and key. Villagers believe that the temple is a "jagrut devasthan" (lit. "alive temple"), meaning that the god here is very powerful. They believe that god Shani punishes anyone attempting theft.

Shirdi

I think I don’t need to say anything about Baba. But couple of things are there to share with, Food in Shirdi doesn’t taste good, behind the temple there is a small Annadhana Chatram providing typical Andra Style meals for Rs.20/head.
If the darshan Q is longer no need to worry, people in Q will be chanting and move in peace. There will be direct darshan for physically handicapped, along with them any one of the family members can go.
You can get a vehicle booked from Shirdi to go to Shani Singanapur/Nasik. Both places requires a day each to visit and come back.

Nasik

There are group of temples to visit in Nasik. It takes a day to visit all the temples in Nasik.
Take a guide near temple so that he will explain everything about the temples and Godhavari river flowing beside the Ram Mandir.
You can book a vehicle from Shirdi who will take you to three temples in Nasik.

Aihole

It was a prominent city in the Badami Chalukyas times from 6th to the 12th century. A place known by the name Morera Angadigalu near the Meguti hillocks has a large number of cists of pre-historic period. The place was an agrahara. The village has 125 temples divided into 22 groups by the Archaeological Department. Aihole has been described as one of the cradles of temple architecture. Of late some brick structures of pre-Chalukyan times have also been excavated.

Pattadakal

The group of 8th century CE monuments in Pattadakal are the culmination of the earliest experiments in the vesara style of Hindu temple architecture. The town displays both Dravidian (Southern) and the Nagara (Northern, Indo-Aryan) styles of temple architecture.

You get Joladha Rotti and  Masala butter milk outside the monument which tastes good. These food is carried in a ancient bucket and sold by the villagers.

Badami

Badami, formerly known as Vatapi, is a town and headquarters of a taluk by the same name, in the Bagalkot districtof KarnatakaIndia. It was the regal capital of the Badami Chalukyas from 540 to 757 AD. It is famous for rock cut and other structural temples. It is located in a ravine at the foot of a rugged, red sandstone outcrop that surrounds Agastya lake.
